Registration Now Open for Lemonade Day Event
Registration is now open for Lemonade Day, a community initiative that empowers young entrepreneurs to start their own lemonade stand businesses. The program aims to teach kids essential business and life skills, such as financial literacy, goal-setting, and teamwork. Participants will learn how to set a goal, make a plan, work their plan, and achieve their dreams.

In other news, the Humboldt County Civil Grand Jury is seeking jurors for the 2024-25 term. The Civil Grand Jury investigates all aspects of local government to ensure the best interests of residents are being served. Additionally, the League of Women Voters of Humboldt County is hosting its annual State of the Community Luncheon on April 19 at the Adorni Center. Keynote speaker Jennifer Savage from the Surfrider Foundation will discuss environmental impact, and honorees include seismic expert Lori Dengler and community volunteer Jaff Lamoree.
