Northwest Arkansas to Host Inaugural VC Day at Ledger in Bentonville

Fayetteville-based Startup Junkie is teaming up with Stout Street Capital, 412 Angels, Startup NWA, and other regional collaborators to bring the first-ever Northwest Arkansas-based VC Day to the area. The event, set to take place on Wednesday, April 24 at Ledger in downtown Bentonville, aims to connect venture capitalists, limited partners, and founders in a casual and relaxed setting.

VC Day, originally launched by Colorado-based Stout Street Capital, operates as a series of regional events designed to facilitate networking and relationship-building within the venture capital ecosystem. Cindy Ho, junior partner at Stout Street Capital, expressed excitement about the event, stating, “VC Day is a great instrument for improving access to venture capital for all founders and building an inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem.”

The goal of VC Day is to create an environment that fosters authentic relationships, moving away from the formalities of traditional pitch events and networking receptions. Jeff Amerine of Startup Junkie and Cadron Capital Partners emphasized the unique opportunity NWA VC Day presents for venture funds, angels, and entrepreneurs to connect in the world-class setting of the Ledger Building in Bentonville.

In addition to networking opportunities, the event will feature a VC panel, a 412 Angels company pitch event, and a panel discussion with companies from the Fuel Accelerator program. Fuel, directed by the Startup Junkie Foundation and organized in partnership with Catapult Consulting, offers hands-on education and support to guide companies towards becoming “enterprise-ready.”

Business leaders and industry influencers are encouraged to attend VC Day to participate in intentional creative collisions and expand their networks. Quinn Robertson of 412 Angels highlighted the importance of building bridges and connecting nodes within the venture capital community.
