New Firearms Business, Project 51, Opens in Marshalltown
A new firearms business, Project 51, has recently opened in Marshalltown, offering sales, transfers, and repairs of firearms. Owner Jake Kessler, a law enforcement officer and military veteran, has a strong background in firearms and wanted to share his passion with others. With a focus on customer service and expertise, Project 51 aims to provide a valuable resource for gun enthusiasts in the area.
Kessler’s experience with firearms dates back to his youth, where he spent time hunting and shooting with family members. His military and law enforcement careers have further solidified his knowledge and skills in handling firearms. As a firearms instructor and sergeant with the Tama Police Department, Kessler brings a wealth of expertise to his new business venture.
Project 51 offers a range of services, including sales, transfers, and repairs of handguns, revolvers, shotguns, and rifles. Kessler can order a wide variety of firearms for customers and typically has them available within a few days. While there are some limitations on the types of firearms he can obtain, Kessler is dedicated to meeting the needs of his customers.
In addition to his current services, Kessler is working towards obtaining a gunsmithing degree to further enhance his skills and offerings. He envisions expanding Project 51 to include a brick and mortar location with inventory on hand, as well as a gun range for firearms instruction.
For now, Project 51 operates out of Kessler’s home, with flexible hours to accommodate customer needs. Interested individuals can contact Project 51 via phone, Facebook, or email for more information. With a focus on quality service and a passion for firearms, Project 51 is poised to become a valuable resource for gun enthusiasts in the Marshalltown area.
