Williamsport Business Owners Honored by Federal Lawmaker for Spotlight on Small Business Challenges During Biden Administration
The spotlight was on two Williamsport business owners, Vincent and Selina Pulizzi, as they were honored by U.S. Rep. Dan Meuser at the House Small Business Committee’s “Small Business Showcase” event in the Capitol Building. The couple, owners of Labels by Pulizzi, shared the challenges they face as entrepreneurs during President Joe Biden’s Administration.
Labels by Pulizzi, a family-owned custom printing company since 1968, employs 32 people in Lycoming County and has provided clients with over a billion custom labels. The Pulizzis were one of only 15 businesses showcased at the event, where they highlighted the impact of burdensome rules, regulations, and taxes on small businesses.
Rep. Meuser emphasized the importance of small businesses in the American economy and pledged to advocate for pro-growth initiatives that benefit entrepreneurs. The Pulizzis expressed their commitment to working with leaders to initiate change and navigate the challenges facing small businesses in the current economic climate.
The event shed light on the struggles faced by small business owners and the need for policies that support their growth and success. As entrepreneurs continue to navigate the challenges of the Biden Administration, events like the Small Business Showcase provide a platform for them to share their experiences and advocate for change.
